Ethics:
In
the choice and implementation of all my projects, I try to take into account
as much as possible the 10 following prerequisites as a guide:
Prerequisite 1 :
Exploring themes that may contribute to an awakening of our conscience, a better understanding of oneself and others, a more peaceful and harmonious world.
Prerequisite 2 :
Entertaining the public with optimistic, positive films, conveying a high opinion of man.
Prerequisite 3 :
Avoiding all narcissistic, ego-centered creations. Aiming at the Universal. Making films for the largest possible audience and not only for an elite.
Prerequisite 4 :
Respecting all beliefs, cultures and traditions. Avoiding words or images that may hurt other people's religious faiths or encourage discrimination. Being vigilant. Developing an ethics of responsiblity.
Prerequisite 5 :
Looking for beauty, the one we have all inside us. Fostering dreams, fantasy and imagination.
Prerequisite 6 :
Inventing, reinventing, pushing the limits of creation. In art, everything is possible. There are no rules.
Prerequisite 7 :
Keeping my freshness and spontaneity all along the way. What works once doesn't work twice. Being humble and open-minded. Zen mind, beginner's mind.
Prerequisite 8 :
Being honest and sincere. Looking for authenticity. Assuming one's opinions and ideas. Taking position.
Prerequisite 9 :
Working only on projects that I really love and with people that I really appreciate and trust. Building enthusiastic teams that can work together in a good, joyous atmosphere. The more people are happy at work, the better.
Prerequisite 10 :
Preserving my moral integrity, keeping faithful to my personal values and ethics. Nothing is more important. We can accept to lose everything but not our soul.
