Pitch/synopsis:
"Fast Movie" is an experimental short film based on the plot of a long-length feature action film. "Fast movie" keeps all the twists and turns of the plot but is shot in accelerate (but not in fast motion), showing only the causes and effects of all actions and events, without showing the main development, the core of the story. The film shows only what is necessary to understand the plot and follow the psychological evolution of the main characters. Everything, every image or dialogue, that is not absolutely necessary to understand the film is left aside. This is a minimalist movie, like a haiku in Zen (a short poem which says only the essential in the minimum words). Only the motivations of all actions, the initial causes of all events and situations and their results is shown on screen. The film, breathtaking, goes very fast, with a lot of things happening in a very short time. Everything is compressed to the minimum. "Fast Movie" is a unique sensorial experience. It is also a criticism of our fast-food generation who needs everything fast, who lives in the immediacy losing the taste of time and the beauty of the present moment.
